May Art Exhibit

It has been well over a year since the first time I attended an art exhibit at the "b brown gallery".  Each month without exception I have attended their monthly event and been delighted by the many treasures that adorn the walls.  bonnie brown fergus has assembled an incredible "stable" of talented artists that pour out their souls onto canvas to create incredible spectacles that please both the young and ...not so young.  The art is not only enjoyable to view but also affordable to buy.  This month featured Shane Somerset and Sandy Wilkinson.  I personally own works by both of these fine artists and can attest to the joy that their works bring to an art lover.  Art does not have to be something for only the very wealthy.  Art is a universal concept, an eternal embodiment of life that all should be able to enjoy, afford and own.  bonnie's gallery brings incredible art to the masses.  There are original creations for the collectors and incredibly precise giclee prints for those being a bit more cost conscious.  In both cases the prices are very affordable and reasonable.  She even offers the "loan to own" program to further make high quality art a reality to everyone.

I recently attended an exhibit at the Wentworth for Paul Stanley, that I had anticipated for well over a month.  Being a huge fan of the band KISS and it's front man, Paul Stanley, I was incredibly excited to attend.  I was frankly disappointed.  You will have to read the review of that exhibit for the full story, but I will tell you as much as relates to this article. The art was overpriced with inflated values that had more to do with Mr. Stanley's fame than his talent or the time spent perfecting the craft.  This made the art out of reach to the masses and most art lovers, and this is what separated that exhibit from every exhibit ever done at the b brown gallery.  Truly gifted artists, truly amazing works of art, and prices that make it way too easy to take  home.  I encourage you to attend their next exhibit, or stop by during their normal hours to view the works.  I promise you will not be disappointed.
