This is one of my very favorite of Bonnie's many works.  I am not a "boat on canvas" kind of collector.  To be completely honest, I am generally inclined to think they are a waste of time and materials.  However, I have always been captivated by this piece.  Something about the movement of the white capped waves and the full billowing sails grabs my soul.  The most amazing thing to me about this painting is that it is a water color.  Remember with water colors "white" is the absence of paint.  So on a piece like this ....you have to paint around a big part of the canvas.  Not an easy thing to do for even the best of artists.
