2004 Gundlach Bundschu Winery Cabernet Sauvignon Block 13 |

For generations the Rhinefarm Vineyard of Gunlach Bundshu has been missing the number 13 from its production lots. Block 13 is made from some of the finest vineyards of California's North Coast by Gundlach. A Sonoma county wine with 60% of its fruit coming from a single source in the Alexander Valley, Block 13 is comprised of 95% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Merlot, 2% Petite Syrah. After blending the wine is aged in 1-4 year old French barrels. Smoke and vanilla hints in the flavor after a blackberry nose, full bodied with silky tannins number 13 has a long smooth finish.
