blend is sourced from different parcels on the
Thorn-Clarke estate in
the Barossa
Valley
of Australia. . A combination of 62%
Cabernet
Sauvignon, 12%s 14-16 m
Malbec,
10.5% Petit Verdot, 10%
Cabernet Franc, and 5.5%
Merlot.
A
nose of ripe plum and deep purple in color it is heavy in the glass and
full on the palate. A combination of cherry, blackberry plum and
Raisin flavors with hints of chocolate and oak from its 14-16 months in
American and French oak. It is broad across the tongue with a good
length and a smooth finish. I rate it an 85.
